Setting up Loan Reminders
You can choose to receive loan reminders by email to inform you that your books are due for return. Emails are sent one day before the return date.
Please note: If you do opt to receive reminders, it is still your responsibility to return or renew your loans by the due date. The Library cannot guarantee the delivery of reminders by e-mail.
To receive reminders, please follow these instructions:
- Select the Check and Renew my books option from the Library homepage.
- Select the link under the Loan Reminders heading: "Sign in to to turn loan reminders by email on or off"
- Use the 'Single Sign-on' feature to login to your account using your BUCS username and password
OR
- Enter your library number (see library card - number starting 110...) and PIN number.
- Click on the turn reminders on button to opt in to receive email notifications.
- You can also use the same pages to opt out of the service.
If you don't know your PIN, click on change your PIN via your use of the Library. Use the right-hand box to request it.
