- Clinical Knowledge Summaries: practical, evidence-based guides to conditions managed in primary care

- Short video tutorials: Cochrane Library: an introduction and Cochrane Library: advanced and MESH searching
- National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE): considers the evidence for efficacy and cost effectiveness & provides guidelines for how the NHS should treat a particular condition
Scotland
- Scottish Intercollegiate Guidelines Network (SIGN): produces clinical guidelines for the NHS in Scotland
- Scottish Medicines Consortium: gives advice to NHS in Scotland about newly licensed medicines
