BSc (Hons) Sport (Coaching) (Work-Based Learning)
This programme is designed to provide Honours degree status to students who have achieved Intermediate level qualification through the University of Bath Foundation Degree in Sport (Coaching).
The BSc (Hons) in Sport (Coaching) sits within a suite of BSc (Hons) programmes in Sport offered by the University to prepare students for longer-term leadership and management roles in the sports industry.
Areas have been included that reflect the multi-faceted aspects of coaching in the real world and develop a broader understanding of coaching in a variety of contexts. Lectures and assessments will allow students to critically analyse, discuss and reflect on the appropriateness of coaching theory and practice, based on research and work based experiences. This Honours year includes management units which can contribute to a CMI qualification. The programme is entirely delivered at the partner institution.
