BSc (Hons) Applied Computing (work-based learning)
This programme is designed to provide Honours degree status to students who have achieved an Intermediate level qualification through the University of Bath Foundation Degree in Applied Computing.
Adopting the same work-based learning approach as the Foundation Degree, students will be prepared for longer-term leadership and management roles at work whilst studying various areas of computing at Honours level.
Units have been chosen that reflect current trends and enable learners to develop a broad understanding of computing in a variety of contexts. The programme provides a balance of theory and practice. The Work-based Research Project gives an opportunity for students to apply and develop their research and project management skills in a real employer-led project, greatly enhancing their employability.
