Dr Faith Butt receives her OBE at Windsor Castle
Congratulations to Dr Faith Butt, the Director of the Division for Lifelong Learning, who in this year's New Year Honours List received an OBE for services to local and national Higher Education. Faith collected her award at Windsor Castle at the start of May.
Faith has been at the forefront of the introduction of work-based learning into higher education provision, especially through innovative foundation degrees. She has worked tirelessly to establish partnerships between universities and further education colleges in the south west to develop new entry and progression routes into higher education.
