1st for graduate jobs in Business

Bath is rated 1st in the Business ranking for graduate jobs and 1st for the number of first class and 2:1 degrees.

It is also shown to have the lowest drop-out rate for business students.

The Times Good University Guide 2013

1st in The Times Good University Guide for Accounting and Finance 3rd in The Times Good University Guide for Business Studies

We are ranked 1st for Accounting and Finance and 3rd for Business Studies (after Cambridge and Oxford)

The Times' guide measures eight aspects of a University's performance: student satisfaction, research quality, entry standards, staff-student ratio, spend on facilities and services, completion rates, good honours and graduate prospects.

The very high levels of student satisfaction and excellent career prospects of Bath graduates are highlighted as key strengths for the University. Overall the University is ranked 9th out of 117 universities across the UK. See the University press release.

1st for  Accounting and Finance - The Complete University Guide 2014

The School of Management is ranked 1st for Accounting and Finance and 2nd for Business Studies.

Four measures are used in the compilation of the subject rankings: Student Satisfaction, Research Assessment, Entry Standards and Graduate Prospects.

FT MBA Ranking - Bath MBA in Global Elite

MSc in Finance ranking

Bath’s MBA programme is ranked in the top 10 UK schools in the FT’s global top 100 ranking of MBA programmes. 

The programme is also ranked 4th in the UK and 7th in Europe for research.  It is placed 15th in the world for value for money and 20th in the world for career progress.

Bath's MSc in Accounting and Finance is once again included in the Financial Times' ranking of pre-experience Masters in Finance programmes.

Only the top 40 programmes from across the globe made the ranking.

FT Business Schools' Ranking 2013

The FT’s global ranking of Masters in Management programmes places the Bath MSc in Management amongst the global elite.

In addition to supplying data for the ranking, alumni were also asked to rate the teaching at their school in a selection of subjects. Bath has been ranked in the global top 10 for teaching in Economics.

The Bath MBA has once again been recognised as one of the leading MBAs in the world in the international ranking published by CNN Expansión, Mexico’s leading business magazine.  Bath is placed 3rd in the UK in the 2013 ranking.

The National Student Survey

The National Student Survey

The results of the influential National Student Survey (NSS), a census of students in their final year of undergraduate study, reveal that our students are amongst the most satisfied in the UK for Accounting and Finance, Business Administration and International Management and Modern Languages.

100% of students on our 4-year BSc Accounting & Finance degree are satisfied overall, and 97% of our BSc in Business Administration students are satisfied. This ranks us 1st for Accounting and Finance and 2nd for Business Administration. We also score 100% satisfaction for our BSc in International Management and Modern Languages (Spanish).

RAE 2008: Ranked 5th in UK

RAE 2008: Ranked 5th in UK

The School has consistently achieved both top research and teaching ratings in the Higher Education Funding Council for England ( HEFCE ) assessments.

The HEFCE was set up by the UK government to be responsible for the distribution of public money for teaching and research to universities and colleges. In the most recent Research Assessment Exercise ( RAE 2008 ), the University of Bath School of Management was ranked 5th in the UK for business and management research, equal to Oxford and LSE. An impressive ninety percent of the School’s faculty submitted to the RAE. Institutions were ranked on a weighted GPA of their quality profile, using a scale from 0 to 4*. Thirty percent of our research was rated 4* and therefore considered ‘world-leading in terms of originality, significance and rigour’. Seventy percent of our research was rated 3* and ‘internationally excellent’.
