Bath's MSc in Accounting and Finance has been included in the Financial Times' inaugural ranking of pre-experience Masters in Finance programmes. Only the top 30 programmes from across the globe made the ranking. The results for Bath show 93% of graduates who were looking for work obtained jobs within three months of completing their programme, highlighting the excellent employment prospects of our graduates. In the influential National Student Survey, a census of students in their final year of undergraduate study, Bath is ranked 2nd for Accounting & Finance based on feedback by students relating to their overall satisfaction with their course. |

The School has consistently achieved both top research and teaching ratings in the Higher Education Funding Council for England ( HEFCE ) assessments. The HEFCE was set up by the UK government to be responsible for the distribution of public money for teaching and research to universities and colleges. In the most recent Research Assessment Exercise ( RAE 2008 ), the University of Bath School of Management was ranked 5th in the UK for business and management research, equal to Oxford and LSE. An impressive ninety percent of the School’s faculty submitted to the RAE. Institutions were ranked on a weighted GPA of their quality profile, using a scale from 0 to 4*. Thirty percent of our research was rated 4* and therefore considered ‘world-leading in terms of originality, significance and rigour’. Seventy percent of our research was rated 3* and ‘internationally excellent’. |
