Optional paid internship Back to top

At the end of your MBA you have the opportunity to take an optional paid internship of up to 6 months** with one of the many organisations we work with. This is a fantastic opportunity to add further work experience to your newly-improved CV. The internship period begins in September, following completion of your studies.

The School of Management has existing relationships with over 250 organisations. Some of the companies who have expressed an interest in working with our MBAs in 2017 include Arup, BMT Hi-Q Sigma, CIL Consulting, Coutts and IBM.

Places on the internship programme are competitive. Opportunities will be advertised from Spring 2018 and you will need to submit your CV and a cover letter, or online application, as well as attending interviews and/or assessment centres.

If you are an organisation interested in working with our MBAs, please get in touch with Helen Auckland. Read about our MBA Group Project and Internship Events for organisations.

* Please note that modules and subject content may be subject to change.

** The University of Bath is one of only a few UK universities selected to take part in a government pilot scheme which has recently been extended and covers visa applications made for entry in 2018/19. This scheme grants postgraduate taught students (on certain courses including the MBA) six months' leave after their course finishes to stay on in the UK to look for work.
