The placement

The four year version of the BSc Accounting and Finance degree offers one full 12 month work placement to provide in-depth knowledge of your preferred work environment. The placement occurs in year three.

Your placement should provide you with the opportunity to apply and develop the skills and knowledge you have gained during the course in a practical business environment.

If you are on the EY Assurance Scholarship programme, you will spend year three on a 12 month work placement at an EY office. You will also go on a 4-week paid summer placement in EY's Assurance practice after your first year.

While you will be supported by a dedicated Placement team, we cannot guarantee that a particular placement will be available or that you will be able to earn a particular salary. Applications for placements can be very competitive, and you must satisfy the requirements of each employer's selection process.
