I teach subjects in information systems, including the use of software such as Excel, Access and Visual Basic, development methodologies, including UML and the political and social aspects of information technology

BBA Senior Admissions Tutor, Senior Lecturer in Operations & Supply Management

My main research interest is customer-centric service design. This work focuses on the important role which customers - either internal or external - can have in improving service delivery. Whether one is attempting to re-design healthcare operations, implementing e-procurement in a bank, or trying to reduce queues at cinemas, it is critical to involve customers and to listen to their opinions.

Director of the Exchange Programme and Research Project, Lecturer in Operations and Supply Management

My research involves the alignment of the seemingly contradictory goals of profitability, environmental friendliness, and social responsibility. As such, I have been working on issues such as product design in remanufacturing and environmental life cycle assessment. In my current research I am dealing with the cost of ignoring or misinterpreting environmental factors in the manufacturing of a product.
