Research Topics for DBA (HEM)

In 2002 we launched a highly innovative research degree, our specialist Doctor of Business Administration in Higher Education Management, designed to enhance and develop professional practice. This combines distance learning with taught modules in residential periods spent at Bath. There are currently 118 participants pursuing this programme.

    You should be a graduate of an approved university or hold a graduate-equivalent professional qualification and a post- or advanced graduate qualification (normally a Masters level degree). You will have held a mid to senior position of responsibility in the field of higher education (institution or agency). You will also be required to supply the names of two referees.
