Research Interests
My research interests focus on two distinct research areas. First, I am interested on better understanding the use of strategic management practices. In particular, I have focused on studying the use of strategy tools, which are widely taught in management education programmes. Second, I am developing a new stream of research on entrepreneurship. I am particularly interested in studying what inspires entrepreneurial action and how nascent entrepreneurs can be more purposeful in their pursuit of this inspiration. I am also interested on the role of emotions (e.g. passion) in promoting or constraining entrepreneurial action.
