Research Interests
My PhD research was concerned with strategic management and the role of business strategy in shaping firms’ social and environmental initiatives within global supply chains.
In addition to the work of my PhD, I am also looking at the role of trust and collaboration in implementing responsible supply chain practices, and I recently undertook a NBS funded systematic review of the literature to examine how firms can implement, ensure and monitor responsible practices, in particular with a focus on how these activities differs between developed and developing countries.
I am currently also working on an EABIS funded project, where the aim is to learn from corporate experience on how best to implement socially and environmentally responsible supply chain practices.
In addition, my current research interest lies in the area of environmental management and SMEs, and the influence of unionization on corporate social performance.
