Research Interests

Currently, I'm leading research projects that investigate:

  1. how social movements achieve success
  2. the rise of 'conspiracy thinking' in the United Kingdom
  3. the consequences of universal basic income on how people think about themselves and what they purchase

PhD Supervision

I'm interested in taking on PhD students who seek to use sociological and anthropological theory to frame their inquiry. I would be happy to meet potential students who are interested in in social movements and universal basic income.
