Director of Studies, MSc in Advanced Management, Lecturer in Organization Studies My research focuses on developing our understanding of careers and leadership that respond to the emerging context of global society. Two questions underpin my current work:

Professor of Leadership & Change My research investigates the emotional and political dynamics of organising, as well as the impact of these dynamics on management learning, management development, change and leadership. The general themes of my research include: management and organizational learning, leadership and leadership development, emotion in organizations, group relations/systems psychodynamics, and the organization of reflection. On the MSc in Advanced Management Practice I teach on the module Organisations in Context. |

Lecturer in Change Management My teaching and research interests are in Organizational Change and Development with particular reference to cultural change in the public sector. The perspective adopted is one of sense- making and organizing. The Change Management Forum is linked to this work. On the MSc in Advanced Management Practice I teach Managing and Leading Change. |
Professor Edmund Thompson

Professor of International Management My main research interests cover (i) firm and national competitiveness, (ii) international business strategy, (iii) firm creation and entrepreneurship, and (iv) cross-cultural socio-psychological aspects of these. On the MSc in Advanced Management Practice I teach the module Managing in an International Context. |
Mr Paul Caulfield

FME Fellow I am an FME Fellow in the Centre for Business and Society at the University of Bath. My academic work is built upon experience gained in Corporate Social Responsibility with BP, where I developed guidelines for community investment and engagement strategy focusing on improving sustainable interventions. Prior to joining BP, I held senior roles in strategic business planning, focusing on business modelling and origination for major European and US banks. On the MSc in Advanced Management Practice I teach on the module Business and Society. |
