Programme Structure

The MSc in Innovation & Technology Management combines business and engineering modules to deliver a truly innovative MSc programme

  • Full-time programme lasting 12 months
  • Divided into two semesters and the dissertation period

All students study the same five core courses in Semester 1:

  • Management of Innovation
  • Decision analysis
  • Managing product development
  • TRIZ-based innovation
  • Creativity and innovation methods

Semester 2 consists of five courses, each one week in length:

  • Engineering and project management
  • Commercialisation of new technology
  • Innovation in networks
  • Technology strategy and organisation
  • International networks for production, services & logistics

The programme finishes with a Dissertation of between 10,000-12,000 words.
