The fifth Business Schools’ Alumni Regatta (BSAR) took place on the Solent last month amid high winds and choppy seas. Force 6-7 winds gusting to Force 8 at times meant the race was not for the faint-hearted but Bath’s crew, which included four experienced sailors, were able to ride the storm to an impressive fourth place victory.

A recent study into the role of branding in the lives of 7-11 year old children has been conducted by Agnes Nairn and Patricia Gaya Wicks from the School of Management and Christine Griffin from the Department of Psychology. The study revealed that celebrities dominate children’s interests, even more so than the branded toys, clothing and other products which are traditionally marketed at them.

Mickey is Co-Investigator for the European 5DayCar project 'ILIPT' (Intelligent Logistics for Innovative Product Technologies) for the Lean and Agile IMRC. His current research focuses on technology and innovation management, involving the implementation of responsive supply strategies in the automotive, defence and health sectors.
