Companies were categorised in terms of their current and future sustainable procurement practice.
Neil said, “I am delighted to have won this award and to have been able to make a positive contribution to the debate regarding sustainable procurement and corporate social responsibility. My work has also shown that purchasers and academics have an opportunity to learn much from each other”. Neil also acknowledged the support and encouragement he received from his dissertation supervisor, Dr Helen Walker (Deputy Director of CRiSPS).
Neil’s dissertation findings were well received during his presentation to the International Purchasing & Supply Education and Research Association conference and he has summarised his results for purchasing publications and academic journals.
