MBA and MSc students celebrate end of semester at the Roman Baths

To mark the end of the semester, students of the Bath MBA and MSc programmes celebrated together last week in the beautiful setting of the city’s Roman Baths.

The students were joined by members of faculty and staff and enjoyed wine and canapés next to the famous spa waters.

Dean of the School, Professor Richard Elliott, gave a short speech congratulating the students and reflecting on the year so far. He focused, in particular, on the opportunities the students had had to interact with our Corporate Partners and the many thought-provoking guest lectures held in the School.

Professor Elliott also mentioned the Postgraduate Student Ball, taking place on June 7th at the Roman Baths and Pump Room; an event organised by an enterprising group of MSc students. He concluded by introducing the many benefits of the Management Alumni Community, a network that the students will automatically join upon graduating.

Gemma Bridges, Student Experience Officer, said:

‘It was great to see so many MBA and MSc students enjoying themselves in such spectacular surroundings. There was a sense of celebration throughout the evening and all the students I spoke with were enjoying this last opportunity to chat to School staff and friends before exams and dissertations get underway.”
