Executive Bath MBAOn August 25, a group of Executive Bath MBA students completed the ‘Three Peaks Challenge’, climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon mountains within 24 hours, to raise money for The Ruskin Mill Trust.

At the time of writing, the team have managed to collect an impressive £3,506.20 for the Trust; a charity that pioneers holistic educational and residential programmes for children, young people and adults with learning disabilities and autism.

Explaining why they chose to support this particular charity, they said:

“As MBA students we understand that many of us take education for granted. We feel that everyone deserves access to learning and that’s why we have chosen Ruskin Mill.”

Climbing the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales together were: Nathan Bryer, Wayne Hewitt, Tori Jackson, Nathan Budd and Charlie Daniel. Fellow Executive MBA student Michael Frosch works for The Ruskin Mill Trust and drove the team minibus throughout the challenge.
Reflecting on the ups and downs of the weekend, Nathan Bryer said:

"Despite testing conditions and one member injuring himself on the way down the first peak, we managed to complete the challenge on time and with smiley faces but in desperate need of caffeine!”

"The challenge was the main aim but we all enjoyed each other’s company, and this was highlighted by the camaraderie within the team. This experience will be one that will stick with us for a very long time...highly recommended!"

Should you wish to sponsor the team, donations can still be made via their Just Giving sponsorship page.
