Dr Jens Roehrich, Lecturer in Operations and Supply Management at the School of Management, has been appointed to the editorial review board of one of the leading industrial marketing journals, Industrial Marketing Management, published by Elsevier.

The journal is currently ranked as 3* on the ABS publication ranking and provides theoretical, empirical and case-based research geared to the needs of marketing scholars and practitioners researching and working in industrial and business-to-business markets.

Jens also recently acted as a guest speaker for an international workshop exploring innovative public sector delivery models. This weeklong workshop brought together senior civil servants from around the world in London. He presented and discussed his latest joint research with Imperial College London, Imperial College Business School and the European Union.

His presentation, ‘Are Public-Private Partnerships a Healthy Option? Addressing Emerging (Healthcare) Challenges’, critically explored the impact of widening the  ‘envelope’ of public-private partnership (PPP) procurement arrangements by combining healthcare infrastructure with facility management services and providing medical services as part of the PPP ‘bundled offering’.
