Mehdi Boussebaa appointed to editorial board of Journal of Professions and Organization
Dr Mehdi Boussebaa, Senior Lecturer in Organisational Studies at the School of Management, has been appointed to the editorial board of a new management journal, The Journal of Professions and Organization, published by the Oxford University Press.
This new journal aims to be the premier outlet for research on organisational issues concerning professionals, including their work, management and their broader social and economic role.
The editorial board is made up of world-leading management scholars and the journal is expected to receive accreditation from Web of Science (WOS) and Social Science Citation Information (SSCI) and gain “A” status within 3-5 years.
Officially launched on 18 March at the Novak Druce Centre for Professional Service Firms at Said Business School, University of Oxford, the journal is already accepting submissions and expects to publish its first volume in early 2014.

Mehdi Boussebaa is Senior Lecturer in Organisational Studies and his key research interests are in: Organisation Theory (principally Institutionalism); International and Comparative Management; Professional Service Firm Management; and Globalization Theory.

The centrality of research to teaching is an essential feature of all our programmes. The School of Management has a faculty of around 90 teaching and research staff, including visiting academics, with a support team of around 70 managerial and administrative staff. Research income averages £2 million per annum. There are approximately 2,100 students in total comprising some 200 MBA students, 460 Master’s students, 210 full- and part-time research students, and over 1100 undergraduates following BSc degrees. The School also runs joint undergraduate programmes with Departments in the Faculties of Engineering and Design, Science and Humanities and Social Sciences.
