Professors Veronica Hope Hailey, Dean of the School of Management, and Julia Balogun, Associate Dean for Research, hosted a special reception as part of the annual Academy of Management conference last month.

Academy of Management

This was the second time the School has hosted a reception at the global conference, where more than 10,000 management students, academics and professionals join together to network across 1,900 interactive sessions over five days.

This year the School was delighted to welcome over 50 international guests who joined a select number of Bath faculty for an evening of networking and research discussions. Delegates came from over 11 countries with representation from a wide range of North American and European business schools including Harvard, Bocconi and Cornell as well as leading UK institutions such as Cranfield, Lancaster and Imperial.

The School was delighted to mark the University’s 50th anniversary as part of the reception and is looking forward to delivering a range of other international events as we move towards the University’s 50th anniversary in 2016.
