Integrating emotions into the analysis of institutional work”, (Academy of Management Review, 2012) written by Professor Russ Vince and his co-author, Professor Maxim Voronov of Brock University, Canada has been selected as a winning paper in the prestigious Emerald Citations of Excellence for 2015.

Each year Emerald Group Publishing awards certificates to highly cited papers relating to the areas of Business Management, Finance, Accounting, Economics and Marketing.

The selection process, led by Emerald Publishing Group’s editorial experts, is based initially on citations, as well as the content of the papers themselves in terms of novelty, inter-disciplinary interest and relevancy in today’s world. The awards are a reflection of the highest quality work in Business and Management Studies.

Professor Russ Vince commented:
“I am delighted to receive this award from Emerald Publishing Group in recognition of my co-authored paper (with Maxim Voronov) in the Academy of Management Review (2012). The paper was the first to construct a theoretical framework for understanding emotion and institutional work. I have been very pleased to see how academic colleagues across the globe have utilized and further developed our theoretical frame through their research. It is gratifying to know that the paper has already received a high citation count and that the Emerald judges saw the paper as significant and innovative.”
