School of Management awards new Indian scholarships for 2017/18

We are delighted to announce that Anjali Gupta, Karen Ramos and Shivani Nirula have been awarded scholarships for the 2017/18 academic year as part of the University’s 50th anniversary celebrations.

The University will cover all three students' tuition fees for their year at Bath as part of the 50th Anniversary Indian Scholarships' initiative, which aims to strengthen ties with India.

Anjali and Karen will study Master's courses in International Management and Sustainability and Management respectively, while Shivani will join The Bath MBA.

Anjali and Karen are both 2016 graduates from the University of Mumbai external website. Shivani and Anjali have also studied at the Indian School of Management and Entrepreneurship external website (ISME).

Shivani, the founder of Eska external website, who create yoga and lounge fashionwear, said:

'Being a first generation woman entrepreneur from India, it would be a delight to share my unique experiences with my international peers, and more importantly, learn from their diverse experiences.

'I am committed to building a company that is ethical and socially responsible. This commitment aligns with the ethos of The Bath MBA. Its excellent reputation and rich cultural history along with its focus on entrepreneurship; business ethics and cross-cultural learning contributed to my decision to apply for the MBA program at Bath.'
