The Bath MBA has soared up the Financial Times’ exclusive list of the world’s top Full-time MBA programmes, moving up 23 places from its previous position.
5 February 2007: School of Management welcomes new Faculty
The University of Bath School of Management is delighted to announce the appointment of five new members of faculty, complementing the School’s existing strengths in International Management, Leadership and Change, Operations Management, Information Systems and Human Resource Management.

29 January 2007: Bath alumnus sells revolutionary oil exploration technology for £32m
John Flavell Smith, a graduate of the full-time Bath MBA programme and co-founder of Scottish technology company Vibtech, has recently sold the company and its ground-breaking seismic testing technology for £32 million ($60 million).
26 January 2007: CRI hold Lecture on Airports Regulation
The School of Management’s Centre for the study of Regulated Industries (CRI) held an occasional lecture entitled ‘Airports Regulation - The BAA Price Control Review’, at the National Liberal Club in London on Wednesday 17th January.
19 January 2007: Death of Professor Raymond Thomas, 1923-2007
Professor Raymond Thomas, one of the founder members of the University’s School of Management and its first Head of School, died on 12 January 2007 at the General Hospital in Weston-Super-Mare.
17 January 2007: Exploring value-based organizations
In December 2006, BSc in Business Administration students were given the opportunity to visit two local enterprises with a strong commitment to organisational values and responsible business practices.
22 December 2006: CARPP forges links with research centre for Leadership in Action at New York University
The School’s Centre for Action Research in Professional Practice (CARPP) and the Research Center for Leadership in Action (RCLA) at the Wagner Graduate School of Public Service at New York University have recently formalised an ongoing collaboration arrangement.
13 December 2006: Winter awards ceremonies – vox pop
The winter award ceremonies began yesterday in the Assembly Rooms. The School of Management's first cohort of Accountancy & Finance MSc students graduated in the first ceremony, along with 130 Management MSc students.
