British Science Festival: Call for Proposals. Deadline: 19 February

Thu Nov 16 11:22:00 GMT 2017

Want to be part of the 2018 British Science Festival? Now's your chance! The call for proposals for Festival content is now open.

The British Science Festival is Europe’s longest standing science festival, travelling to a different place in the United Kingdom each year. It aims to diversify the public’s understanding of ‘science’, with an events programme that encompasses it in the broadest sense of the word. In 2017, the Festival went to Brighton and it was one of the biggest yet - check out the highlights video to get a flavour of what went down!

In 2018, the Festival is taking place in Hull - the 2017 UK City of Culture - and will be hosted by the University of Hull between 11 - 14 September 2018. Festival content should be aimed at non-specialist adults (i.e. aged 16+) with a broad interest in science. The Festival welcomes and encourages proposals with creative formats and drop-in activities.
