Research Marketing

The Research Marketing Team promotes the University’s research internationally, nationally and within the University, and supports researchers throughout the research lifecycle to develop and deliver marketing plans to promote their work.

Support for researchers

If you are a researcher at the University, we are your first point of contact when it comes to support in promoting your work:

  • at conferences and events
  • to the press
  • to the University community
  • to external audiences including policy makers, industry and the public.

Get in touch with us and we will work with you to establish your communication needs, develop a suitable communication plan and put you in touch with the right people to help deliver it.

We can help you:

  • draft your Pathways to Impact funding proposal
  • announce new research funding
  • advertise for new research staff or look for collaborators through digital media
  • provide advice on using social and digital media to reach new audiences for your research
  • engage the public, other researchers, industry and policy makers in your work
  • find suitable speaker opportunities, conferences or events to attend.

Any activity carried out to promote your research can be logged in Pure and used to evidence impact in Research Excellence Framework case studies.
