Who can have one?

• Anyone
• Ownership! 1, many, groups

Groups

• All groups in Confluence are in central LDAP server
• Confluence groups = LDAP groups
• Mailing lists = LDAP groups
• LMF groups = LDAP groups + SAMIS groups

Creating a space

• You get one by default (personal space)
• Themes + other customisation

Editing a page

• WYSIWYG
• Wiki markup
• Macros (some are wiki markup only)

Adding a new page

• Pages are hierarchical
• Not flat! This is unusual!

Linking to another page

• WYSIWYG mode

Permissions
