Engaging with the community

This is a self-sustaining research centre established in 2004 with five interlocking themes. The themes themselves will have a set of interlinking scientific tasks. Each task has well-defined scientific objectives and involves a team of academics, researchers, postgraduates and visitors. It will have direct links with industry and an extensive programme of seminars and workshops.

Public and scientific information will include:

• An effective education and public awareness programme.
