Registration for Schools
Registration for 2012 is now closed and will be re-opening for the 2013 event in the autumn!
On arrival at the University of Bath, please make your way to the Founders Complex Sports Hall (note: this is the old sports hall by the Student Union shops and NOT the new Sports village) and wait in the reception area. You will be greeted there by an event organiser, who will give a few brief safety instructions to your pupils.
Points to remember
Merchandise: The event itself is free and there will be no stalls selling items. The shops that trade in the Student Union building will continue to be open, but I suggest the children are encouraged not to bring money.
Clothing: Some of the stalls can be very messy , so old clothes or art-shirts are advisable!
Photographs: As in previous years there will be press coverage of the event, and photographers will be present. We also may take photographs for our own publicity/accountability purposes. Whilst, we will not name any children in any way, photographers from the press may ask for the children’s first name and school. We would be grateful if you could make parents/carers aware of this and specifically ask for their permission.
Venue: Although the Sports Hall is an enclosed area it is still open to members of the public and we are expecting that many people from the University will also wish to visit the Science Fair. Please ensure that your pupils are supervised in groups.
