The focus of our research is to develop novel nanostructured materials for environmental applications including:

  • Transport Phenomena at the nanoscale
  • Carbon dioxide utilization
  • Nanostructured membranes for water treatment
  • Large scale production of nanomaterials

 

  

 

 

 

 

 

The Nanofluidics Transport Laboratory is located in building 9W, room 4.01. The laboratory is equipped with:

A high temperature, high vacuum (2000 °C, <10-7 mbar) furnace for nanotube graphitization.

Five stations for the fabrication of flat and tubular alumina nanoporous templates:

Two tubular furnaces (up to 1200 °C) for chemical vapor depositon of carbon nanotubes:
