Registration online
The Registration Online (ROL) system allows you to:
- confirm your personal details
- agree to the rules and regulations of the University
- arrange fee payment.
Registration
Once you have firmly accepted your place with us, and met any conditions of entry, you need to complete registration.
All students have to register at the beginning of each academic year.
During registration you can upload a photo for your library card. You will need your card to use sports facilities as well as the library - it also entitles you to some student discounts through the National Union of Students (NUS).
UK and EU student registration
- In August/September you will be sent an email inviting you to register.
- After you've got this email you will be able to log on to Registration On-Line (ROL).
- Use the same username and password you have been using for Application Tracker.
- Complete your registration before you arrive at the University for induction week.
Don't worry if you are not able to complete your registration before you arrive. Once you are on campus help is available in the library during induction week.
International student registration
If you are an international student you will not be able to fully register until after you have had your documents checked during induction week.
You will need to bring the following to your document checking session:
- your original qualifications documents (not photocopies), as listed on Application Tracker
- your passport
- your visa.
Please carry these in your hand luggage.
Delayed arrival
If your arrival is delayed, and you will not be on campus in time to attend your document checking session, you can attend the next available session.
