University Vice-Chancellor Professor Glynis Breakwell recently took part in the launch of the Research & Innovation Services Annual Report for 2007.
The report showcases the University’s research and development projects together with new business creation, such as spinouts, and licensing initiatives.
Major achievements over the past year include the partnership with the IP Group and the licensing agreement between the University and the Oxford-based firm Prosonix Limited which will see the commercialisation of technology developed in the Department of Pharmacy & Pharmacology.
The launch involved academics, senior University management and business contacts of Research & Innovation Services.
