5,000 expected at University Open Day

Around 5,000 visitors (prospective students and their parents) are expected to attend our Undergraduate Open Day on Thursday 25 June.

This year the event will run from 10am-4pm and the central exhibition area will be located in the Sports Training Village, although events will be taking place across the whole campus.

Statistics show that more and more potential students use Open Days as part of their decision-making process when choosing which university to attend, making open days an essential part of university life.

Visitors have been encouraged to use public transport where possible. First Bus will be providing extra services and the City Council and Park & Ride schemes have been informed. However we do anticipate that many will also arrive by car from approximately 9am, putting extra pressure on parking spaces. Please follow directions to the overflow parking area on the playing field near the Medical Centre if necessary.

Further details about the event are available online.

Thank you in advance for making visitors feel welcome on the day, and apologies are offered for any inconvenience caused.
