Mo Kiziewicz retires today

Mo Kiziewicz is retiring today (31 July) after exactly 12 years of service in her role as Learning Support Manager.

When Mo first arrived at the University, support for disabled students was very limited and the prevailing culture far less understanding of how best to support disabled students.

Mo played a key role in working with colleagues across the institution to help them understand how they might make the academic and broader student experience more accessible for these students.

It was a challenging role at times, but also very rewarding as she saw an increasing number disabled students both accessing and succeeding at this university.

Mo said: “It has been a real privilege working with so many hard working and committed colleagues engaged with sustaining diversity at the University.

“ I hold rich memories over many happy years and wish my colleagues well for the future.”

Her friends and colleagues wish Mo a long and happy retirement.
