If you’ve watched The Apprentice and thought you could do better, now’s your chance to give it a go!
The Students’ Union is offering student teams the chance to take over an empty shop in the centre of Bath, opening to customers for one day each only.
The competition will see teams competing against each other, each running their business from a £200 start-up fund, with expert advice from local business mentors.
Teams will be asked to make an online presentation reflecting on their experiences, and this will form part of the judging process to pick the winners. The team who makes the most money and does the best presentation will win.
The venture will launch on Thursday 5 November and the winning team will be announced at a grand finale planned for the Roman Baths on Friday 20 November.
The winners of the competition will get to pocket their profits.
Siobain Hone, Student Enterprise Coordinator, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to try out your entrepreneurial ambitions in a real environment and of course it will be great CV material.”
