Freshers are arriving on campus this weekend – Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 September.
Freshers’ Week volunteers will work alongside University Security to ensure the smooth running of the two arrival days.
Two one-way systems will operate around campus, aimed at arrivals for each main accommodation block.
Those in Westwood and Norwood accommodation will arrive on campus via Quarry Road and head to West Car Park.
Those in Eastwood accommodation will arrive on campus via Norwood Ave and park in East Car Park.
The one-way systems will be as follows:
Westwood Accommodation
- In via Quarry Road
- Park in West Car Park
- Collect key from 3WN on foot
- Head from West Car Park up towards Polden & Mendip
- Turn right along past Accommodation Services
- Turn right at entrance to Eastwood past the Founders Sports Hall
- Turn left past the Founders Sports Hall and out towards Norwood Avenue
Norwood Accommodation
- In via Quarry Road
- Park in West Car Park
- Collect key from 3WN on foot
- Head from West Car Park into underdeck
- Park in under-deck to unload
- Turn around before Student Centre
- Head back along underdeck
- Depart via Quarry Road
Eastwood Accommodation
- In via Norwood Avenue
- Into East Car Park
- Collect key from 3WN on foot
- Leave East Car Park via coach stop to Woodland etc
- Split towards residences
- Turn left past the Founders Sports Hall and out towards Norwood Avenue
