Professor John Toland appointed Chair of REF Mathematical Sciences panel

Following an open recruitment process, HEFCE (Higher Education Funding Council for England) has appointed the Main and Sub-Panel Chairs for the REF (Research Excellence Framework) panels.

They are listed below. Professor John Toland has been appointed Chair of the B10: Mathematical Sciences panel.

HEFCE will now begin the process of appointing panel members and panel membership will be announced early in the new year.
