Do you have a business idea that needs financial backing? If you’re an undergraduate or postgraduate with business ambition you could get a share of a new £15,000 fund for student enterprise.
Come along to a ‘Dragons’ Den’ event on Wednesday 1 December and pitch your ideas to the University Dragons to get your hands on a business grant worth up to £5,000, plus advice, mentoring and business support.
You’ll need to make a short, 10-minute pitch and answer questions from the Dragons:
- Siobain Hone - Student Enterprise Coordinator
- Sean Smith – Technology Transfer Manager
- Alison Evans – Research Portfolio Manager
Siobain said: “This is the first time we’ve had a start-up fund for students and it’s a very exciting prospect. Students at Bath have a great track record in enterprise and we look forward to a strong competition and the opportunity to direct them to sources of support to help start and develop their business.”
The event will be held on Wednesday 1 December in the Enterprise Resource Centre in Norwood House from 10am. For more information please contact Banter.
