Weather forecasts suggest that there may be further snow during the period when most of the University is closed (25 December to 3 January inclusive).

December pay day and payslip distribution

University pay day this month is 22 December and payment by BACS will be made as usual, however due to the current adverse weather conditions the distribution of hard copy payslips around the campus will be disrupted.

Guidance on staff attendance during severe weather

Revised guidance on staff attendence during severe weather has been approved by the Vice-Chancellor, following consultation with the Chair of the Emergency Management Team and the campus trade unions.

Tier 1 Post Study Work - biometric residence permits introduced

Are you applying for a Tier 1 Post Study Work visa? From 14 December you will need to use the new application form. The new application form is also an application for a Biometric Residence Permit.
