We would like to remind our international students and staff that support is available during difficult times such as the current political protests in the Middle East and the earthquake in New Zealand.
Our International Student Advice staff are contacting students from the regions affected and support is being put in place.
Students can also access support through the Student Services Centre in 4 West, the Advice & Representation Centre in the Students’ Union and the Chaplaincy.
If you feel your work is being affected by such events, you are also encouraged to talk to your Personal Tutor and Director of Studies.
Please also remember that Nightline, a confidential listening and support telephone line, is open Wednesday to Sunday, 8pm till 8am. The service is run for students by students, who will be more than happy to listen to your problems and concerns.
Any staff affected by the events can access confidential counselling support via the Royal United Hospital, Bath.
