The Department of Estates will be testing a new, campus-wide siren system on Wednesday, 28 September at 12 noon. It has been installed to further extend the very high standards of safety of the Claverton campus.
This new siren will only be used in certain emergency situations to alert staff and students to stay indoors, and therefore, by its very nature, it should be heard by everyone. This means that Wednesday’s test of the siren will be loud!
The test will involve three short 10 second bursts of different tones, and it should be completed within three or four minutes.
If you have any feedback following the test please contact the Department of Estates via the helpdesk:estates-helpdesk@bath.ac.uk
