The Education Liaison & Outreach Office is now seeking applications from students for roles in 2011/2 to help school pupils reach their full potential and aim for Higher Education, as part of the Bath Ambassador Scheme.
Outreach Ambassadors help facilitate school visits, open days, subject-taster sessions and higher education awareness events.
The Education Liaison & Outreach Office was voted Best Employer of the Year in this year’s SEOTY awards, so you can rest assured we’ll look after you well!
What are the benefits?
For students, the benefits of joining the Bath Ambassador Scheme are numerous:

“The work opportunities available are flexible and can fit in around students’ study commitments,” said Liz Simmons, Widening Participation Coordinator at the University.
What does it involve?
“Their role is to share their own experience of higher education and to give pupils guidance and support in their studies.
“We provide full training and all the roles have excellent rates of pay, plus the chance to add valuable work experience to your CV.
“Anyone can apply for a position on the Bath Ambassador Scheme but students must have a good understanding of the British school system and excellent English.”
Everyone who applies to take part in the Bath Ambassador Scheme must complete a Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check before commencing work.
