Expert to talk on recycling heat from crematoriums

Dr John Troyer will talk about how heat produced at crematoriums could be used to produce electricity.
He will discuss his findings at the Knowledge Escalator Project South West conference at Somerset County Cricket Club in Taunton on Tuesday (27 Sept).

The meeting is open to anyone with research interests in the ESRC area, including those who will be acting as internal peer reviewers for ESRC proposals.

The University has appointed Gavin Maggs as its new Director of Development & Alumni Relations. Gavin, who is currently the Deputy Director and Head of Major Gifts, will take over the role at the end of October. He will replace Siôn Lutley who is leaving after five years at Bath to become the Director of Development at the University of Melbourne.
