In the run up to London 2012 we hope to bring some of the excitement of the Games to the University website by featuring the athletes, staff and students at Bath who will be part of the Olympic and Paralympic story.
We’re also taking part in Universities Week – a national week to promote the work and achievements of universities in the UK from 30 April to 7 May which this year will be celebrating the contribution universities make to the Olympics.
What’s your story?
We know about the athletes that are hoping to compete at 2012 but if you have a different connection to the Games and you haven’t already been in touch with Corporate Communications then please do tell us about it. Maybe you’re volunteering at London 2012, or your research is connected to the Games or the athletes? If you’re involved in any way, or you have an interesting or unusual link to London 2012, we’d love to hear from you.
Volunteers or spectators: star in a video diary!
Are you volunteering at the Games or going as a spectator? If you’re lucky enough to be experiencing the Games first hand would you like to share it in a video diary? We’re looking for short video footage to record your thoughts on the build-up to the event, your experiences at the Games, and your reflections afterwards. We can give you an easy to use Flip camera and guidance on how to go about making your video diary. If you’re interested please contact Alison Jones in the University Press Office.
