Professor Paul Salkovskis from the Department of Psychology has taken part in a BBC Radio 4 programme which looks at treatment for phobias.

The programme, Mind Changers, examins the work of South African psychiatrist, Joseph Wolpe, who developed the treatment Systematic Desensitization which involved a lengthy process of relaxation and gradual exposure to the object of the phobia.

Professor Salkovskis joins others to relect on the worldwide impact of Wolpe's treatment. Listen to the programme here.
