We are pleased to announce that Andrew Lee has been appointed permanently as Director of Computing Services.
Andrew has worked at the University for over four years and has been Acting Director of BUCS since January 2011.
Previously, he was Assistant Director of User Services with responsibility for managing the service desk, ITP shop and audio-visual teams.
On his appointment Andrew said: “It is very exciting to be able to fully take on this role at a time when BUCS, the University and the sector as a whole are experiencing unprecedented levels of change.
“It is my intention to move BUCS towards being a truly responsive ’supplier-partner’ to the rest of the University.
“I have led a number of IT departments over my career, but can honestly say that the BUCS team is the very best I have had the pleasure to work with. We are fully prepared for the challenges ahead.”
