An invitation to the ‘Let’s Talk’ open meeting

All staff are welcome to attend our first 'Let's talk' open meeting with the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dame Glynis Breakwell, on Wednesday 28 November in the University Hall.

The first 'Let's talk' will take place from 2.30-3.30pm and is an opportunity for everyone to talk with the Vice-Chancellor and other senior staff about some of the issues affecting us all.

The Vice-Chancellor will start the session with a short presentation to share with you all some of the current thinking around the University's strategy which is in the process of being reviewed. Then she will open the floor for questions, ideas and feedback from you.

There will be a chance to continue conversations in the foyer afterwards where refreshments will be served and there will be a display providing further information about ongoing initiatives.

Please do come along and get involved. The day and time have been chosen to allow as many staff as possible to attend although we do understand that some may have essential duties to perform.

'Let's talk' will also be streamed live to University desktops and a recording made available via the internal homepage. The time and day will also be varied for future 'Let's Talk' events to allow those who missed out the first time to have an opportunity to attend with the second planned for mid-March 2013.

To help ensure sufficient catering is available it would be helpful if you could please email if you plan to attend putting the word ‘attending’ in the subject heading.
