Do you have a graduation story to tell?

Have you, or a student you know, had to overcome challenges or personal difficulty to graduate this summer? Do you have an unusual, inspiring or heart-warming story to tell?

The University Press Office is looking for moving, unique or unusual stories to help publicise our graduations.

Previous stories which have captured the attention of our local media include: Victoria Otten, full time carer and mum of three who completed a Coach Education & Sport Development degree; and TeamGB snowboarder Jamie Barrow who juggled his time practising on the piste with completing his Sports Performance degree.

Further previous stories can be found in related links.

If you, a friend or a student you teach has an interesting story alongside their academic achievement and you’d like to share it with the local media, we would love to hear from you.

Please contact Alison Jones via email or phone 01225 386986, with a summary of the story and contact details, so we can discuss it with you further.
