Dear Colleagues,
As we reach the end of an incredibly busy 2012, I am writing to thank you all for your many and varied contributions to what has been a very special year indeed for the University.
Ours is a close-knit community which is rightly proud of its many achievements both collectively and individually.
We are entering 2013 in very good shape. We continue to see a positive trend in the numbers of high quality applicants wishing to study with us. The quality of our research is being increasingly recognised with the award of new grants. Our plans to enhance the facilities available on campus are making excellent progress.
None of this is possible without the effort, commitment and dedication that you demonstrate on a daily basis. You are what make our University unique.
I’d like to take this opportunity to wish you and your families a very happy and peaceful Christmas, and best wishes for the New Year.
Professor Dame Glynis Breakwell DBE DL
